About this opportunity:
We are seeking a talented and motivated master’s student to develop an expert rule system for detecting and analyzing fault signatures in real-time data. This project aims to enhance monitoring capabilities by leveraging advanced rule-based systems to streamline and improve fault diagnosis in large-scale environments.
What you will do:
• Design and implement an expert rule system using Python.
• Integrate with existing infrastructures to stream logs and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop rules and algorithms to accurately identify fault signatures within streamed data.
• Collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to refine system functionalities.
• Document and present development processes and findings.
You will bring:
• Currently pursuing a master’s in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in Java and C are highly advantageous.
• Knowledge with rule-based systems such as Drools, Durable Rules, Pyke, or PyCLIPS is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with streaming data and real-time data processing systems is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
