Master Thesis Work
What you will do:
The main focus of the thesis project is to evaluate the performance of a real network with XR users. The scenario for evaluation requires a map, deployment, XR traffic characteristics, propagation models etc. The student will use such a scenario to utilize a set of TCC features and perform system simulations that capture the XR user satisfaction e.g. the delay distribution for each user. The analysis would require algorithm tuning and a sensitivity analysis. Thus, it is required by the student to work in research driven manner and iteratively update both the models and the assumptions to build a comprehensive understanding of the challenges in such a complicated scenario.
The skills you bring:
This project aims at students in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, engineering physics or similar. The student should have the following qualifications:
- Wireless communication knowledge
- Preferably hands on experience with Monte Carlo simulations
- Programming skills in Matlab, Python
- Innovative and creative thinking
- English written and spoken
