Innovation @BTH Events

In order to support innovation and entrepreneurship at BTH events are arranged, often the events are held in cooperation with partners such as BBI (Blekinge Business Incubator) or others. Though some events are focused on a certain group, e.g. students, staff or PhD students, we are always welcoming anyone to participate!

Also if you are interested in arranging some event with us, please let us know, and we will do what is possible in order for it to happen!

Preink startup

BHT is part of the Preink project that is a cooperation between BTH, BBI, MINC and IDEON Innovation, aiming towards assisting early ideas to grow. We will have a kick-off and present this opportunity to BTH and others.

Sustaining the good initiatives

Finding good initiatives from the COVID-19 situation with potential for sustainable businesses.

Ideation workshop

Workshop for trying out ideation tools and techniques, giving the participants a better toolset and experiences in finding and rapidly assessing ideas connected to innovation.

AI Competition

Triggering ideas on how to use AI for new innovations. This event was started with an introduction lecture by Professor Håkan Grahn, giving the basics in AI and Machine Learning.

Global ChallengeChallenge

Ideas sought for addressing the Energy Challenge and by doing so lowering the CO2 emissions. The winning team from this event won a Business Boost trip to Silicon Valley with BBI.
