Welcome to Lärarlärdom 2025

This year’s host is Blekinge Institute of Technology

Conference date is August 20

The conference is aimed at teachers, researchers, pedagogical developers and other staff who are otherwise interested in developing their knowledge of educational quality and learning in higher education. The main aims of the conference are:

• to offer a meeting place where teachers, study administrators, staff in support functions, management and the student body can meet for qualified conversations about education quality and learning
• to create a forum that inspires discussion and knowledge formation about and around learning and teaching in higher education and the conditions for this activity
• to establish a platform for pedagogical merit that gives teachers the opportunity to present their reflected experience and documented knowledge about learning and teaching in higher education

The conference is a collaboration between BTH, Kristianstad University and Malmö University and offers an arena for sharing experiences and learning from others. Employees at other institutions of higher education within Lärosäten Syd are welcome to participate subject to availability.

Theme for this year’s conference: Everyday teaching – Challenges and opportunities
With this theme, we want to elevate the teacher’s everyday life. What challenges do we face in the classroom, both spatial and digital? What possibilities do these hold? What does academic teaching look like in practice and how do we promote student learning? What methods do our teachers use and what ideas do you want to share with others?
