Join our Team
Ericsson Power is responsible for Power product development. We are a part of Ericsson’s global design organization and engaged in developing products for the present and future mobile networks. Ericsson Power are developing products for the internal stakeholders; Radio, Enclosure & Power, Microwave, Baseband, and Core/Cloud.
What you will do:
This work aims to develop Proof of Concept SW features for a microcontroller (MCU) located in the -48V input stage of a Radio and Baseband. Functionality that can be explored are; Lightning detection, FFT on current, input cable Resistance & Inductance extraction, health check of components in input stage, morse code communication to mobile phone and more. Machine Learning algorithms, based on e.g. TinyML, shall be investigated for anomaly detection (to detect events that does not trigger pre-defined conditions, e.g. voltage dip, over current etc.)
Competences:
- Master Student within Electrical engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science or similar
- An interest in power products and MCU based programming.
- Excellent English skills
Extent: 2 students, 30 hp each
