Make sure to read our local terms and conditions for tuition fees at BTH here:
Newly admitted students
For students starting in Autumn 2024
- After receiving the Notification of Selection Result from University Admissions, you will receive an email from no-reply@ladok.se with payment instructions and a link to the invoice. If you have any queries or you didn’t receive the email, please contact tuitionfees@bth.se. Don’t forget to check your email spam folder.
- The invoice will include the deadline for payment, the amount to pay and instructions on how to pay. Please ensure that you use the reference number provided on the invoice. This will allow us to correctly associate your payment with your account.
- The tuition fee is paid in SEK (Swedish Krona) and you can pay with a credit card or via bank transfer.
- Payments made by bank transfer can take more than two weeks to reach us and appear in Ladok. Payments made by credit card will take a couple of days to appear.
- You will receive a confirmation email when payment has reached us.
- If the payment for your first semester is not received by BTH by the deadline as stated in your invoice, you will lose your place on the programme or course to which you have been conditionally admitted.
- Anyone may pay your tuition fee, for example, a family member, a friend, or a sponsor. However, we advise you to pay the tuition fee from your own bank account or with your own credit card to avoid any difficulties.
- BTH notifies the Swedish Migration Agency when the payment has been received so that you can start your residence permit application.
Information for students from Iran
Due to international regulations, Swedish universities are currently prohibited from paying money to Iran. This might affect you if you require a repayment, so you should be mindful about which account you choose to make a payment from. We recommend that you choose a payment method that works if a refund must be made.
