Introduction to Strategic Sustainable Development, 3 Credits
The purpose of this online course is for the students to acquire basic knowledge of strategic sustainable development, which then enables participation in some other SSD-related courses at BTH.
The course has a structure that enables self-paced studies, support from teachers via webinars, and feedback on assignments. It contains a background on un-sustainability, sustainability and sustainable development, strategic thinking and planning in the context of sustainable development. It also contains a science-based definition of ecological and social sustainability, and how that can be applied to create sustainability transformations.
