Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Impact Statement, 6 Credits

The aim of the course is to give the student knowledge to be able to produce an environmental impact assessment in a strategic environmental assessment. The purpose of environmental assessment is to integrate environmental aspects into planning and decision-making in order to promote sustainable development. The course gives the student knowledge in different methods for environmental impact assements (IEA) and what a good environmental impact statement (IES) should contain.
