Welcome to the MBA programme
at Blekinge Institute of Technology!
The programme runs online, part-time from 1 September 2025 to 6 June 2027. Being part-time means that you’ll need to dedicate an average of 20 hours per week to your studies.
We’ll provide updates via email about the time and a Zoom-link for the programme introduction. Keep an eye on your inbox for further details!

Procedure to join the programme
You must fulfil these steps to keep your place on the programme.
1. Tuition fee (deadline 15 May)
Visit the tuition fee page for information.
2. Apply for a residence permit (as soon as possible)
Visit the Migration agency home page for more information, if you will take a Campus programme.
3. Activate student account (from 27 March)
You will recieve an email with instructions, read more on Student Portal – Get started.
4. Register for the courses (from 25 July)
You must register on-line for the courses to keep your place on the programme. Instructions are on Student portal – Get started.
5. Programme start (1 September)
If you cannot participate in the programme introduction, report this by email to the programme manager.
Programme and courses
Courses during the initial semester:
Corporate Finance , 7,5 hp Period: 2025-November-03 until 2026-January-18 Kurskod: IY2633
Perspectives on Leadership , 7,5 hp Period: 2025-September-01 until 2025-November-02 Kurskod: IY2630
In the first semester of the MBA programme, you will take two courses that run one after the other. All the course activities will be conducted online. You can check the programme and course Canvas pages for updated information on schedule, course content, teaching material, assignments, and discussion forums. You will get access to the course links on the MBA programme page after you log in. Carefully study the course guide on each course site to get a clear idea of teaching and learning activities. We have kept scheduled activities to a minimum except for written examinations to make the programme flexible for those who are employed.
Once you enroll in the programme, we will email you the programme guide for the MBA programme. This document is an important source of information for you. It will provide information on how the programme will be conducted, administrative issues, what is expected from you as a student, and what you can expect from us.
Equipment and digital tools
BTH requires students to use their own computers for studies. Your programme might have specific hardware or software requirements, make sure to check here if your program is listed and find out what you need. Additionally, for any online education, ensure you have a camera, a headset with a microphone, and an internet connection.
All programs and courses use the online learning management system Canvas. Once you activate your student account and register for a course, you can access your Canvas course page. You can find more information about Canvas, Zoom, and other digital tools you have access to here.
