Welcome to the Master's Programme in Software Engineering
at Blekinge Institute of Technology!
A mandatory roll call and programme introduction will be held 20 January 2025 via Zoom from 16:00 to 17:00 CET. A few days before the meeting, you will receive a Zoom link to the meeting via email.

Important! To secure your place on the programme, follow the steps in the section below titled “Procedure to join the programme.”
Procedure to join the programme
You must fulfil these steps to keep your place on the programme.
1. Tuition fee (deadline 15 December 2024)
If applicable to you, visit the tuition fee page for information.
2. Activate student account (from 20 December 2024)
You will recieve an email with instructions, read more on Student Portal – Get started.
3. Register for the courses (from 20 December 2024)
You must register on-line for the courses to keep your place on the programme. Instructions are on Student portal – Get started.
4. Programme introduction and roll call (20 January 2025)
If you cannot participate in the roll call, report this by email to the programme manager before the meeting.
Programme and courses
Courses during the initial semester:
Product and Requirements Management for Digital Environments , 7,5 hp Period: 2025-January-20 until 2025-June-08 Kurskod: PA2578
Adaptive Lean Software Testing , 7,5 hp Period: 2025-January-20 until 2025-June-08 Kurskod: PA2579
This distance learning programme lasts two years, from 20 January 2025 to 16 January 2027. The programme is given at 50% pace, and you will need to dedicate about 20 hours per week to your studies. You will be able to study at your own pace and convenience, while still being part of a supportive learning community.
Equipment and digital tools
BTH requires students to use their own computers for studies. Your programme might have specific hardware or software requirements, make sure to check here if your program is listed and find out what you need. Additionally, for online education, ensure you have a camera, a headset with a microphone, and an internet connection.
All programs and courses use the online learning management system Canvas. Once you activate your student account and register for a course, you can access your Canvas course page. You can find more information about Canvas, Zoom, and other digital tools you have access to here.
