Before your arrival
- Pay your tuition fee (if required)
- Apply for residence permit (if applicable)
- Activate student account and register for your courses
- Make arrangements for your housing
- Read the information about insurance
- Read the welcome letter for your programme or your course package
- Check the enrollment date in the welcome letter
Important documents to bring
- European insurance card (for European students)
- Your VISA/Master card or Travel card
- Your original academic documents (diploma and transcripts) if required (for example if you are conditionally admitted)
Upon your arrival
- Find your programme and courses in the e-learning platform Canvas
- Attend welcome meetings
- Get your BTH card
- Show your original documents at the Admissions office, if required
- National registration (only for students who have a residence permit valid for more than one year) at the Swedish Tax office
- Remember to sign the accommodation contract and pick up your key at your housing company
Note! Some of the administrative procedures may be different for Erasmus students. More information for these students will be provided by the international coordinators.
