General study counselling
The study counsellors give guidance and information regarding university studies at BTH. You are welcome to schedule an appointment for personal counselling or send your questions to them directly. We can also offer study guidance via Skype.

Studying with disabilities
If you have a disability you can apply for educational support during your studies.
It is important that you contact us as soon as you have been offered a place on your programme. This allows us to arrange appropriate educational support in time for the start of your courses.

International Office
At the International Office you get information about exchange studies. All questions concerning exchange studies within our partner agreements should be addressed to in.exchange@bth.se (for example Erasmus, Nordtek, Nordplus or double degree).

Rules for use of computer resources
The computers are intended for solving the compulsory tasks and laboratory work which are a part of the course examination and for individual computer-related proficiency practice. Computing facilities, networks and accounts are the property of the university, and are run by the university to be used in the activities and operations of the university.
Wireless network, eduroam
You can connect to a wireless network on both BTH’s campuses. Your eduroam password is automatically created and sent to your email address when you activate your student account. See instructions how to connect in the Student Portal.
Printing and copying
At BTH there are a number of printers that can be used for printing, copying and scanning. Everything is at cost. To print, copy or scan you need to do relevant settings. See information in the Student portal.
Learning facilities
When you have obtained your BTH card, you get access to all facilities on campus. The BTH card is used as a door key to the computer rooms which are available for BTH students during all hours Monday through Sunday. You can use your own laptop and the wireless internet that BTH offers all over campus.
Library
The library offers:
• Books, journals, newspapers
• eBooks, eJournals, databases – also accessible from your own computer
• Study areas, group rooms, quiet reading area
• Librarian support
• A self-study course on how to search, evaluate and use information
• Short courses at the information desk at the library or on Zoom
Reception
The reception is located in building A on campus. Here you can get your BTH card and get help if you do not know where to turn. The reception assists you with general questions regarding your studies. Specific questions regarding courses or programmes should be directed to your programme manager.
