International collaboration programmes

International collaborative programmes

International collaborative programmes are based on partnership between two universities. As a double degree exchange student you will study part of your time at your home university and part of your time at Blekinge Institute of Technology. After completed studies you will obtain degrees from both universities.

BTH has agreements for both bachelor’s and master’s levels. Depending on the agreement, you will study the last 1-2 years at BTH.

Apply to a collaborative programme

1. Nomination

The initial step is to contact the International Office at your home university or faculty, as they must formally nominate you to the International Office at BTH. Your home university will only nominate eligible students, so please verify the eligibility requirements with them.

2. Application

Once the International Office at BTH has received the nomination from your home university, you need to fill out the online application form.

3. Admission

After the application is evaluated, you will receive an admission letter and practical information from the International Office at BTH.
