    Processing of your personal data

    In order to answer your question, BTH needs to process your personal data. The processing is necessary to perform a task of public interest.

    Blekinge Institute of Technology is the data controller responsible for processing your personal data with due regard to your privacy and complying with the provisions of the Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and other relevant legislation.

    Your personal data will only be used to answer your question. BTH will store your personal data as long as it is relevant for the purpose and in accordance with the archiving and deselection regulations of the University and the Swedish Archives. This means that your personal information is either saved where there is a need for archiving or deleted after a certain period of time as specified.

    Since BTH is a public authority, documents that is sent to Blekinge Institute of Technology may be regarded as official documents.
