BTH leads world-wide community – coorganizes IEEE conference
The 7th IEEE Conference on Network Functions Virtualization and Software-Defined Networking (IEEE NFV-SDN 2021) will be a virtual event in 2021. The conference takes place online from 9-11 November 2021 and BTH co-organizes the conference.
-It is IEEE’s premier venue for the discussion and presentation of research results from industry and academia in Network Functions Virtualization and Software-Defined Networking, Kurt Tutschku general co-chair of the conference, says.
These technologies help communication service providers to evolve existing networks and build new ones for future services, to support general applications, such as smart cities, Industry 4.0, critical energy infrastructures or ubiquitous and edge-based AI.
The IEEE NFV-SDN conference originated from an industry initiative and is backed, among others, by the ETSI Industry Specification Group on Network Functions Virtualization, Spirent and Intel. BTH is a technical sponsor.
The conference is held on-line and brings together researchers from more than 20 countries and this year’s program from comprises keynotes, technical sessions, and panels with keypersons from North America, Europe, and China.
Kurt Tutschku from BTH acts, for the fourth time, as general co-chair of the conference together with Larry Horner from Intel (US).
