Distance students celebrated their graduation on campus for the first time

Students celebrating graduation

The students from BTH’s distance Master’s programme in Software Engineering celebrated their graduation last Friday. It was the first time the graduation ceremony was held both digitally and on campus.

The graduating students from the distance Master’s programme in Software Engineering gathered to celebrate their graduation on campus for the first time. Around ten students from the class joined the celebrations on campus in Multisalen, while the others joined digitally. During the ceremony, speeches were given by students, the programme manager and senior lecturer Deepika Badampudi and Dean Professor Lars Lundberg, followed by the award ceremony where the students got to go on stage and proudly receive their graduating gift.

The Master’s programme is designed for professionals focusing on rigorous and data-driven approach to software engineering and gives software professionals a chance to complete a university degree. The programme runs on distance at a 50% pace during four semesters i.e. an excellent option for combining studies and work.
