A very short CV
I am a Professor of Software Engineering at the Department of Software Engineering at Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden. I am also a member of SERL Sweden, the Software Engineering Research and Education Lab at BTH.
My main research interests are in object-oriented methods, software process improvement, software quality and measurement, software readability and comprehension, and computer science education.
I am a Professor of Software Engineering at the Department of Software Engineering at Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden. I am also a member of SERL Sweden, the Software Engineering Research and Education Lab at BTH.

Before joining BTH, I was a Professor of Computer Science at Umeå University, Sweden. Before moving to Sweden in 1994, I held a position as a Lecturer of Software Engineering and Algorithms and Datatypes at the Computing Centre of Aachen University of Technology (RWTH Aachen), Aachen, Germany
My PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) is from RWTH Aachen , Germany, where I graduated with a thesis in Programming-in-the-Large (Languages, Tools, and Reuse) in 1993. I also have a Master degree in Computer Science with Economics as a secondary subject from Saarland University, Saarbrücken, Germany.
I am a member of the editorial board of Informatica Didactica. Furthermore, I am a co-founder of the Scandinavian Pedagogy of Programming Network (SPoP) and a senior member of the Swedish Requirements Engineering Network (SiREN).
