RESEARCH OUTPUT

Maryna joined BTH in April 2022 as a Senior Lecturer in Industrial Economics. Her main research agenda lies at the intersection of cross-disciplinary exploration, integrating behavioral economics, industrial economics, and macroeconomic stability to deepen understanding of the intricacies of human decision-making processes in economic contexts. By examining the macroeconomic outcomes of these decisions and considering the pivotal role of trust, she explore ways to leverage behavioral economics to enhance industry effectiveness and the overall efficacy of public policy initiatives. She has most recently focused her research on economic benchmarking and business analytics.

TEACHING

  • (Co)supervision: 3 PhD students, 1 ongoing as the main supervisor. Supervision of 2 BSc, 27 MSc and 9 MBA theses.
  • Experience from teaching courses on undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels in Ukraine, Italy and Sweden, including Behavioral finance, Managerial economics, Economic Analysis of Markets, Firms, and Industries, Finance, Financial statistics, Analysis and visualization of financial data, Financial analysis, Finance and investment analysis, Corporate Governance, Industrial organization, Strategy and control, Firms and organization, among others. Course responsible for 15 courses.
  • Author of 12 study materials for teaching at the university level, including three study books.
