Mohammad Mahdi Ghanaati, PhD student in Industrial Economics, has been working at Blacking University of Technology (BTH) since February 2023. His PhD thesis focuses on the digital entrepreneurship ecosystem. He has been deeply interested in entrepreneurship for several years and has participated in various related activities, and also has experience in teaching as he was previously a lecturer at the university for several years in the field of management, such as operations research, entrepreneurship, and micro and macroeconomics.

With a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Linköping University (2018) and a Master’s degree in Industrial Management with a focus on product overview from IAU (2005), Mohammad has over three decades of experience in the telecommunications industry throughout his career. He has held various positions, from experts to leading roles, where he has overseen technical and commercial projects in various sectors.

He has been a consultant and support manager at the FRDP Engineering company for several years, where he uses his expertise to drive effective strategies. He has practical experience in investing in start-up companies and has already founded two start-ups. These ventures include a digital education platform adapted for the IELTS test and a medical document transfer solution for insurance companies, aimed at facilitating smooth processes for patients.
