Cholada Kittipittayakorn defended her thesis in Industrial Economics and Management

On June 13, 2024, Cholada Kittipittayakorn defended her doctoral thesis on how to make health systems perform more efficiently.

The thesis “Enhancing the Performance and Efficiency of Healthcare Systems Using Industrial Economic Principles and Statistical Techniques” examines how the demand for healthcare will evolve by forecasting life expectancy at birth across several European countries. In addition, the thesis evaluates the performance of healthcare systems in Europe, connecting the issues of how healthcare resources are allocated and overall health outcomes.

The opponent was Associate Prof. Hassan Haghparast-Bidgol from University College London, England.
