Ola Olsson defended his thesis in Industrial Economics and Management

On May 21, 2024, Ola Olsson, Department of Industrial Economics, successfully defended his thesis on equity crowdfunding.

The thesis “How do backers manage investment uncertainty in equity crowdfunding?” examines how ICT has given rise to a new class of equity investors through equity crowdfunding. The thesis then studies how these investors use digital tools to make investment decisions.

The opponent was Prof. Natalia Mæhle from Western University of Applied Sciences, Norway.
